Who Is The Group Guy?

Hi everyone! I'm Jesse Sandler, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned my Master’s degree in Social Welfare at UCLA and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Before starting these groups, I was an individual and group therapist at both the UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital and The Camden Center. I am also the founder of MySoberRoommate.com, a website that helps people in recovery find sober roommates.

Over the past nine years, I have worked with a diverse population of individuals with varying diagnoses and am trained in multiple group and individual psychotherapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.

I specialize in the treatment of depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, bipolar disorders, sleep disorders, and issues surrounding gender and sexuality. I can help you learn to manage life's inevitable difficulties by empowering you to enact lasting and positive change.
